I discovered that wikis are being used for varied reasons. Princeton Public Library used it for a season for book reviews from the community reading group, reviews now go directly into the catalogue - great idea. Others used it for recording information for courses, one community used it for recording the useful data about their town and commercial area.
I thought it would be great to record the local history of an area. Open it up to the community to record their rememberances and experiences, highlights etc.
The pbwiki setup seemed best.
