Have spent some time playing with the Flickr mashups.
Colour picker certainly brought up an interesting array of matching colour photos, some really neat shots and I could see it's usefulness in generating ideas for designing cards, invites etc where you wanted a specific colour theme.
Retrievr was not an API that I would use. For conventional searching it didn't bring up expected results, but then the accompanying text did explain that. More a random image retreiver!
Bubblr could be highly entertaining. Will have to explore this more.
I thought the most enjoyable and useful site was the FD Toys Trading Card Maker. Loved it, so many different options, Palette generator, CD cover and more. I think I'll definitely bookmark this site.
